You will be part of the ADAO Strategy and Governance Team. In this role, you will serve as the functional lead for data. This role bridges the gap between the Central AI, Data & Agentic (ADAO) Hub’s strategy and the decentralized execution by Business Unit Data Stewards. The role is responsible for the conceptual design and operational oversight of both Master Data and Transactional Data to ensure they are "AI and analytics ready" and support seamless transformation.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Framework & Strategy: Contribute to the ADAO Hub’s overarching data strategy and data governance while "localizing" the governance framework
• Decision Enablement: Prepare comprehensive "decision dossiers" (impact analysis, risks, and options) for Data Owners to facilitate sign-offs on data quality KPIs and thresholds
• Stewardship Orchestration: Act as the primary mentor and point of contact for decentralized Data Stewards, ensuring unified application of DQM standards
• Cross-Pod Alignment: Coordinate with other pods to align on Cross-BU Data Objects (such as Customer) to ensure consistency and manage dependencies
• Data Product Quality: Define and monitor the "Data Quality Gates" required for transformation projects and data products
• Ensure Accountability: Work with data domain owners to prioritize governance topics, ensure adoption, and embed accountability
• Data Quality Improvement: Partner with data domain owners to implement remediation plans and continuous data quality improvement initiatives
• Master Data & DQM: Oversee the governance of critical finance objects (e.g., Cost Centers) and the continuous monitoring of transactional data health

YOUR SKILLS:

• Holistic & Analytical Thinking: A "big picture" understanding of how data flows through a company, combined with the sharp analytical ability to dive into the details to understand and solve issues
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to identifying data friction points and designing scalable, sustainable solutions rather than just "quick fixes
• Advanced Stakeholder Management: Strong diplomatic skills, ability to influence Data Owners and align decentralized BUs that may have competing priorities
• Technical / Finance Fluency: 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, with the ability to speak the language of both a Finance Business expert and a Data & Technology specialist
