Why we are recruiting
The Group is consolidating its strategy and is composed of four key functions: Communication Strategy and Coordination, Public Engagement, Media Engagement, and Stakeholder Engagement. We are currently seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist for our Email Marketing sub-team within our Stakeholder Engagement team who will support the team from October-March in operational management of institutional email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud in order to enhance our current digital communication practices.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
The role will report to the Lead, Email Marketing. The candidate will work closely with our internal stakeholders in Event Strategy and Engagement, Partner- and Member Engagement teams, Marketing Content, Business Operations and Information Technology.
Key responsibilities

Support the team with messaging, execution and case management of institutional email marketing campaigns (events, newsletters, institutional updates) including setup of email automations.

Maintain documentation of related campaign protocols, processes, SLA, best practices, alignment meetings)

Advise Forum teams on messaging for community communications, and distribution via digital channels.

Support the product management workstream for the Account Engagement (User tickets, testing, capture user feedback)

Support email client rendering testing (Litmus) of new and existing email templates

Maintain the Forum’s email sample library for users in Cloud based email tools

Generate data and deliver post-campaign reports/analysis including proposals for optimizations.

Content management Marketing Cloud User Knowledge and Resources (administration): WeLink site Owner, maintaining resource centre on WeLink, updating/creation of tip slides, best practices, etc.

Support key priority projects of the Email Marketing Solutions team and required change management
The successful candidate will be assessed on:

Seamless execution and case management of institutional email marketing campaigns (events, newsletters, institutional updates).

Deliver insightful post-campaign reports/ analysis including proposals for optimizations.

Maintain an up-to-date email library for internal users for their day-to-day email campaigns.

Ability to manage the email rendering tool and processes to assure high quality of email templates.

Ability to collaborate efficiently and transparently within the team and other collaborating teams across the organization.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Capacity to work autonomously while remaining collaborative and flexible to produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment.

Keeping abreast of the Forum’s business/ technology processes and developments pertinent to the team’s work

Stay up to date of the latest email marketing trends, best practices and tools.
Required qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or relevant field from an accredited institution.

3+ years of professional experience in email marketing operations, including campaign planning, preparation, segmentation and execution.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proven project management and coordination skills and attention to detail.

Expert level and experience in the use of leading email marketing platforms.

Experience with other related technology tools including CRM, analytic tools, and email rendering tools.

Basic knowledge of email design in HTML/ CSS, mobile responsive design, and Photoshop.

Familiarity with aspects of email marketing industry including rendering, deliverability, analysis, legislation, authentication/reputation systems.

Excellent presentation and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders.
