Your responsibilities

  • Network: administrate switches, VLANs, routing
  • Firewall: administrate rules and objects
  • Load Balancing / WAF: administrate load balancer
  • Administration of other network / network security related solutions
  • Investigate and resolve faults
  • Plan, coordinate and execute changes
  • Review configurations, identify and suggest improvements
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Analyze and update software versions, replace
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives in the IT
  • Support colleagues and act as a consultant/advisor

Your competences and experience

  • Have at least 3 years work experience in IT as a network engineer, security engineer or network architect
  • Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks: routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
  • Optional: Have experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Are willing to provide on-call duty in weekly rotation after trial period in level 3 support
  • Have strong documentation and record keeping skills with attention to details
  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to join a virtual team across Hungary and Switzerland
  • Independent, proactive and self-confident personality with a high willingness to take on and bear responsibility
  • Willingness to travel to Switzerland around 3-4 times a year
