Are you confident navigating between departments, stakeholders and development teams, able to structure complex requirements and prepare and make decisions on a sound basis? The educational planning of the Canton of Zurich collects educational statistical data for several cantons. These form an important basis for the planning and management of the education system.
As Project Manager and Product Owner, you take operational overall responsibility for the development of the "BISTA Portal" and combine project management, product development and requirements engineering.
Your tasks
- You plan, manage and prioritise project and product development including roadmap, backlog, resources and budget.
- You collect, analyse and structure professional, procedural and data-related requirements and translate them into implementable solutions.
- You coordinate the interdisciplinary implementation team as well as the collaboration with departments, stakeholders and external partners.
- You promote agile and self-organised collaboration and understand how to clarify roles, responsibilities and decision-making paths in complex situations and further develop them together with the team.
- You design and moderate workshops and decision-making processes and accompany UX, technical conception, testing and professional acceptance.
- You are responsible for project controlling, risk management and reporting and ensure the strategic embedding of the project within the directorate.
- You also look after the existing applications BISS3/4 until their replacement.
Your profile
- Several years of experience in project management, product ownership or a comparable role in the digital environment.
- Sound experience in requirements engineering.
- Experience with agile approaches, especially Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a good understanding of complex organisational contexts.
- Very good communication and moderation skills as well as experience in professional or lateral leadership.
- Independent, structured and result-oriented working style.
- Very good knowledge of German.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, HERMES or corresponding certifications are an advantage.
