We are looking for a Strategic Buyer Electronics Components (f/m/d) to join our team and strengthen our global sourcing activities by driving resilient supplier strategies and ensuring the reliable supply of electronic components across our organization.

As Strategic Buyer Electronics Components, you will be responsible for supplier development and supplier management in your assigned region. You will implement category strategies in close alignment with global category teams, regional stakeholders, and relevant internal functions. Your focus will be on driving value, ensuring business continuity, supporting supplier compliance, and contributing to sustainability and cost targets.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- contribute to category strategies with regular market analysis, supplier insights, and identification of relevant trends, risks, and opportunities.
- implement category strategies for electronics components in your assigned region, in alignment with global category teams and managers
- build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at regional and global level to understand business needs and ensure buy-in for category strategies.
- develop and manage strategic supplier portfolios including supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, contract management, compliance, performance monitoring, and portfolio consolidation.
- take responsibility for supplier performance in your region, including supply continuity, quality, sustainability, cost reduction, and delivery reliability.
- drive supplier development plans and supply-chain optimization projects, such as cost initiatives, lean activities, inventory optimization, and digitalization projects.
- escalate and manage supply and quality issues with suppliers.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- hold a university degree or equivalent in a technical, commercial, or supply chain-related field.
- bring at least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in an electronics or technical environment.
- have strong knowledge of supplier management, contract management, and supply-chain processes; knowledge in purchasing electronics is a plus.
- think strategically and analytically and translate strategies into concrete actions.
- communicate, negotiate, and manage stakeholders effectively in an international environment.
- work collaboratively with a strong focus on customer needs, targets, and sustainable results.
- are willing to travel up to approximately 10%, mainly within Europe and have very good English skills; German language is an advantage.
