What you can achieve

• Monitoring and control of all relevant security and alarm systems as well as conducting inspections, audits and vulnerability analyses
• Ensuring the effectiveness of physical security measures (access control, perimeter protection, building security)
• Coordination of the entire emergency and incident management including alarms, interventions, exercises and maintaining contact with authorities
• Documentation and investigation of security and environmental incidents including root cause analysis and derivation of measures
• Advising managers on risk assessments, risk analyses and implementation of legal and internal requirements
• Planning, organising and conducting training sessions, workshops and evacuation or emergency drills
• Active contribution to the further development of the security culture at the site

What you bring with you

• Completed training in the field of security (e.g. security specialist (VSSU), police or military training preferably at officer rank or technical HF/FH training with a security focus)
• Additional training in emergency/crisis management, fire protection, ISO 27001 (physical security), ISO 45001/14001 courses, BZS courses
• Several years of professional experience in security or protection organisations (police, army, plant security, security management); further experience in occupational safety & health protection as well as environment is desirable
• Experience in dealing and cooperating with emergency organisations, authorities, intelligence services etc.
• Sound knowledge in risk management, security audits and internal control systems (ICS) in the security context
• High communication and teamwork skills at all hierarchical levels in corporate structures
• Structured and reliable working style as well as high organisational and coordination skills
• Very good MS Office user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Very good German and good English skills

About the department

The "Corporate Security" department ensures group-wide security and environmental management to effectively protect employees, infrastructures, business processes as well as entrusted sensitive information and materials of the federal government. The department is responsible for the protection and physical integrity of employees as well as the resilience of business operations against security-relevant risks. Through uniform standards and processes, it ensures that legal requirements and internal group security and sustainability goals are met.
