Complex IT landscapes are not a problem for you but an exciting challenge? This position is aimed at experienced infrastructure specialists who want to combine technical architecture, cloud transformation, and demanding customer projects.
Responsibilities:
Development of future-proof infrastructure architectures for demanding enterprise environments
Analysis of existing IT landscapes and development of modern transformation strategies
Planning hybrid platforms across data centre, private cloud, and public cloud
Architecture and optimisation of compute, storage, backup, and virtualisation solutions
Design of highly available and resilient platforms
Technical leadership in migrations, modernisations, and complex infrastructure projects
Development of standardised managed services with a high degree of automation
Technical consulting on architectural decisions and strategic IT initiatives
Support with demanding 3rd-level problems and root cause analyses
Creation of solution architectures, technical concepts, and operational standards
Evaluation of new technologies and integration of suitable solutions into existing platforms
Collaboration with specialists from cloud, cyber security, network, and application engineering
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a comparable technical field
Several years of experience in building and further developing complex IT infrastructures
Very good knowledge in several technological disciplines such as:
Microsoft Server
Azure and Microsoft 365
VMware or Hyper-V
Storage and backup
Client and endpoint platforms
Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and infrastructure migrations
Understanding of highly available, scalable, and automated IT platforms
Ideally experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or comparable automation technologies
Knowledge in monitoring, observability, security, and disaster recovery is an advantage
Experience in the technical implementation of demanding customer projects
Strong ability to explain complex technical contexts clearly
Independent, structured, and quality-oriented working style
Willingness to take responsibility for technical decisions
