The non-profit association Disabled Travel Zurich (VBRZ) has been operating a regional and supra-regional driving service for people with disabilities since 1992. We are currently seeking a dispatcher (100%) for our permanent office team.

Our dispatch is responsible for the organisation of over 20,000 journeys annually. In addition to regular office hours, it operates a emergency phone on a rota basis for urgent calls. Furthermore, it carries out various administrative tasks in this context and ensures that everything is in its proper place in the operation (office organisation).

Requirements profile:

• aged between 40 and 50 years (*)
• completed vocational training
• experience in dispatching
• self-confident, communicative and assertive personality
• flexible and resilient team player with organisational talent
• good experience in daily telephone customer contact
• good knowledge of MS Office programmes
• very good German skills (including spoken dialect) in speech and writing
• very good local knowledge of Zurich, good geographical knowledge of Switzerland
• good manners, neat and tidy appearance
• interest/experience in supervising apprentices an advantage
• sense of non-profit work, participation in club life
• residence in the Zurich area (commute max. 45 minutes)
