Do you want to support people with mental health impairments in a versatile residential setting and work independently? At the residential home of the University Psychiatric Centre (UPZ), you will find a varied psychiatric field of work with plenty of scope for creativity and a small, dedicated team. You accompany the residents during their temporary stay, shape individual development processes and work closely with various professional disciplines. You benefit from regular working hours without split shifts, exciting training opportunities and the broad professional offerings of the UPZ. The residential home is part of WITA - Housing, Work & Day Structure . The UPZ’s offering combines various outpatient and inpatient housing and employment options and is aimed at people who need support in dealing with their mental health impairment in different areas of life. The various services work closely together and enable continuous support through different life and development stages.

Your tasks

• You accompany the residents in the living and leisure areas and support them in everyday and practical life situations
• You take responsibility in key worker duties and accompany individual development and care processes throughout the entire stay
• You work cooperatively with the residents on their personal goals and jointly develop sustainable solutions for challenging situations
• You involve the social environment and important reference persons in the support and maintain professional exchange with the respective system
• You actively shape everyday life and support the residents in further developing their skills and trying out new courses of action
• You work closely with your colleagues and professionals from other occupational groups and contribute your professional perspective
• You participate in the further development of the concepts and offerings of the residential home and can contribute your own ideas and innovations
• You use the proximity to the clinic for interprofessional exchange and your professional development

Your profile

• You have a qualification as a HF nurse or social pedagogue HF/FH and bring experience in working with people with
• You are familiar with working with people with chronic mental health impairments or have a strong interest in deepening your knowledge in this psychiatric field of work
• You approach different life plans openly and appreciatively and bring a professional, resource-oriented attitude
• You work independently, responsibly and resiliently and keep an overview even in demanding situations
• You communicate empathetically and clearly, enjoy cooperative work and actively contribute to a small team
• You are flexible, humorous and balanced and enjoy developing solutions together with the residents
• You appreciate interprofessional collaboration and want to take advantage of the diverse training and development opportunities at the UPZ
