Head of Quality & Safety
Our ClientOur client is an established Swiss family business with an international focus. The emphasis is on the development and production of innovative solutions for industrial applications and the construction materials industry. As part of a succession arrangement, we are seeking an experienced individual to take responsibility for the Quality area as an individual contributor.
Work location: Bern region
Your Area of Responsibility
• Further development and implementation of QHSE objectives and the management system
• Planning and conducting internal as well as supporting external audits
• Ensuring compliance with standards, laws and regulations
• Development and maintenance of key figures, QHSE cockpit and reporting
• Advising and training managers and employees
• Handling and follow-up of QHSE issues and measures
• Support with sustainability topics and their implementation
Your Profile
• Education or degree in a chemical or industrial environment
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Further training in quality or lean management is an advantage
• Understanding of chemical production processes
• Entrepreneurial, quality-oriented and solution-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
• Very good German and good English skills
