About the job
The Department of Supervision for Special Education and Therapies of the Canton of Schaffhausen is
responsible for preventive and therapeutic services in the areas of speech therapy and psychomotor skills for kindergarten and school children in mainstream education.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for the Buchthalen and Alpenblick school unit for a
Speech Therapist for 21 lessons
Your tasks
- Diagnosis and assessment of therapy needs for children with speech difficulties in mainstream and integrative special schools
- Conducting speech therapy sessions in individual or group settings for both child clienteles
- Consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration with parents, teachers, and specialists
- Designing preventive and integrative offers
Your profile
- a diploma in speech therapy
- further training and practical experience in the area of written language and dyslexia are required
- independent, flexible, and self-responsible
- administratively and organisationally competent
- communicative
- creative and enthusiastic in working with children, parents, and a team
