What you can achieve

• Design and implementation of scalable data architectures and data models for complex use cases
• Building, further development and operation of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Development of suitable solutions for data storage, data integration as well as batch and streaming processing
• Building semantic data models as well as developing and using ontologies and knowledge graphs
• Application of AI and machine learning methods to analyse data and develop data-driven solutions
• Integration of data and ML solutions into existing software and system landscapes via APIs and services
• Collaboration in the areas of data governance, data lifecycle management and auditing
• Management of security, access and authorisation concepts for data, platforms and data science environments

What you bring with you

• Completed education in data science, computer science or a comparable field; alternatively career changers with comparable practical experience
• Several years of experience in building and implementing complex data-driven solutions
• Sound knowledge of relational databases, object stores and vector databases
• Very good knowledge in data engineering, especially in data modelling, data pipelines, storage technologies and streaming
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes-based environments and enterprise storage, especially NetApp
• Independent, analytical and solution-oriented working style
• Fluent German skills; English skills (level B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
