Windows Server & Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 115,000Role:
The most exciting IT work arises between project work and system operation. This is exactly where the position of Windows Server & Cloud Engineer comes in. Requirements, planning, implementation and operation are all handled by one person, while the Microsoft infrastructure is continuously developed. Technical understanding meets organisational skill when projects are coordinated and server landscapes are simultaneously managed. For all who value responsibility and want to actively shape the transition from requirement to functioning solution, this offers a versatile role.
Responsibilities:
Requirement gathering, planning, implementation and testing up to operational handover fall within your area of responsibility, as does the coordination of internal and external contacts
You keep track of deadlines, risks, task packages and project documentation and report regularly to relevant parties
Windows server roles such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP as well as file and print services are part of your daily support field
You actively drive the further development of the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) environment
You continuously expand and independently manage Identity & Access Management with Microsoft Entra ID
In addition, you investigate technical faults, coordinate their resolution with external partners and occasionally support first-level support including occasional on-call duties
Qualifications:
A higher technical education in the field of computer science, ideally with a focus on system technology, forms your professional foundation
You already have several years of experience in a broadly based infrastructure or system engineering role
You have independently led and successfully implemented projects
You are familiar with Microsoft server and client environments; Linux knowledge additionally rounds off your profile
You have good administrative proficiency in Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
You are familiar with network basics such as DNS, DHCP and virtualisation, and you communicate confidently in German and have good English skills in a technical context
