System Engineer 2nd Level (a)*

Your Tasks

• Team player: You are part of a small, well-rehearsed team and share responsibility with your colleagues for IT & technology at our locations in Zurich, Basel and Bern.
• Infrastructure expert: You implement servers, network, storage, backups and our cloud services (M365), keep them running, monitor them and continuously develop them further.
• Troubleshooter: You get to the bottom of complex faults, find the cause and ensure sustainable solutions during ongoing operations.
• Quality thinker: You keep an eye on our services, continuously optimise them and ensure high quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
• Organisational talent: You ensure smooth IT operations and have maintenance and documentation of our IT infrastructures and applications under control.
• Broadcast operations hero: With your know-how, you ensure that production and broadcast operations run smoothly and professionally from a technical perspective.
• Calm keeper: You regularly take on on-call duties and keep an overview even during incidents – including incident and change management up to 2nd level.
• Project guide: You coordinate IT projects, keep track of deadlines and participants and lead external partners both technically and organisationally.
• Event supporter: You share responsibility for IT at external assignments and Energy events and ensure reliable technical support on the go.

Your Profile

• IT foundation: You have completed IT training and already bring practical experience from the IT world.
• Technical all-rounder: Networks, clients, servers, databases and Microsoft operating systems as well as applications are not foreign words to you – you bring solid know-how in these areas.
• Engineering professional: You have experience in engineering and 2nd level support of larger ICT infrastructures, ideally with technologies such as VMware ESX / Nutanix, Enterprise Storage, MS Exchange Online or Active Directory.
• Communication talent: You enjoy contact with users and customers, communicate clearly and solution-oriented and bring high social competence.
• Team player: You are committed, motivated and communicative, like to pitch in and want to achieve something together.
• Reliability professional: You work independently, precisely and reliably and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
• Flexibility talent: You bring a high level of commitment and are willing to work evenings or weekends if necessary.
• Broadcast nerd: You are familiar with the broadcast environment? Even better! Knowledge of AXIA Livewire, Ravenna or Multicast is a plus.
