Would you like to actively shape the purchasing department of a leading Swiss food company? In this 12-month internship, you will gain exciting insights into the procurement of services and merchandising items, collaborate with various departments, and take on responsibility early on. Together, we create sustainable solutions and real added value.

What you will achieve

• You support responsibility for quality, prices and conditions in the area of services and merchandising and contribute to supply security.
• You participate in tenders, awards as well as contract and order processes along the defined purchasing strategy.
• You prepare market analyses, key figures, reports, forecasts and savings evaluations and create data transparency.
• You coordinate purchasing topics with internal partners, suppliers and material group managers and support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• You maintain master data, support supplier management and contribute to the further development of methods, processes and tools.

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Field: Commercial basic training, further education in purchasing or business administration is an advantage, or comparable training.
• Professional experience: Initial practical experience in purchasing services, marketing, IT or merchandising services, ideally in the consumer goods or food sector.
• You convince through initiative, reliability, negotiation skills and clear and binding collaboration with different stakeholders.
• You think analytically, act market- and customer-oriented and handle complex issues in a structured manner.
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel; SAP or Ariba experience is an advantage.
• German (C1)
