The Aargau Building Insurance, founded in 1805, is a centre of expertise for prevention, intervention and insurance. It is the oldest institution of its kind in Switzerland. It not only acts as an insurer – it also helps to prevent and reduce damage. Its services protect the population, assets and the environment.
AGV insures buildings in the canton against fire, natural hazards and water damage. Especially in the event of a claim, competent handling is of the highest priority for customers. The storm on 28 August 2026 triggered an exceptionally high number of claims. To be able to help all those affected quickly and reliably, we are strengthening the Customer Service Claims team and are looking for you

Your tasks

• You process fire, natural hazard and water damage claims for building insurance in a timely and legally compliant manner.
• You examine the facts and insurance coverage, open the files, ensure complete documentation, check the compensation and initiate payments.
• You open assessments and compensations, assess reductions and recourses and enforce them.
• You take care of all administrative tasks in claims settlement.
• You have telephone and written contact with a wide range of contacts. You advise customers competently and also work closely with the field service.

Your profile

• You are a commercial clerk with a federal vocational certificate.
• You have professional experience in the insurance sector and claims handling.
• You have extensive telephone customer contact. Your communication is friendly and professional, even in intense periods. And you write well and enjoy it.
• You are proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes.
