The Assisted Living Schlossblick in Thun is part of the Glockenthal Retirement Home in Steffisburg, which is an operation of Alterswohnen STS AG. In total, we employ around 85 staff at the Steffisburg and Thun locations. We offer 60 nursing home places in Steffisburg as well as places for assisted living in Thun. Our actions always focus on the well-being of our residents.

Your daily routine looks like this

• You are responsible for the daily catering of 27 residents of the Assisted Living Schlossblick in Thun. You prepare the meals delivered by the main kitchen in the satellite kitchen.
• With the support of another person, you take care of the service of the three meals and are responsible for ordering and proper storage of food.
• Cleaning tasks in the catering area in compliance with applicable food hygiene and quality standards are also part of your duties.

How you impress us

• You have completed basic training in catering/hospitality-housekeeping.
• For this role, you must have experience and expertise in catering/service. Ideally, you are familiar with working in a satellite kitchen.
• Independent working as well as empathy characterise you, as does your strong team spirit.
• Enjoyment in respectful and helpful interaction with older people and flexibility in work planning (full-day and irregular shifts, including weekends) complete your profile.
