Tasks

• Deputy to the Head of Education, Culture and Sport in operational and organisational matters
• Member of the Education Management Team
  • Organisation, preparation and follow-up of meetings of the Education Management Team in cooperation with the department head and school management
  • Minute-taking
  • Management of business control and coordination of decision implementation
• Participation in the management and further development of the Education, Culture and Sport area
• Ensuring administrative and organisational processes in the areas of education and culture
• Organisational and personnel management of BKS employees
• Leadership and participation in projects of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport
• Contact person and specialist responsible for the area of culture
• Administrative support for the Culture Commission
• Responsibility for reports, applications and political matters within own area of responsibility

• Completed commercial training
• Completion of advanced professional and leadership training
• Several years of experience in public administration and/or education sector as well as experience in team and project management
• Very good communication skills - written and oral
• Experience in minute-taking (meetings, hearings)
• Solid IT user skills
• Analytical thinking and quality awareness

• A responsible and versatile leadership role with scope for design
• You can expect a motivated team ready to tackle upcoming projects with enthusiasm and further develop the city schools of Solothurn
