IT System Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is an agile Swiss system house that supports small and medium-sized enterprises with professional IT solutions in the areas of servers, networks, cloud, and security. The company combines personal consulting with a broad partner network of specialists and offers its customers high-performance, secure, and economical IT infrastructures – from cloud migration to ongoing operations. Responsibilities:
You plan, implement, and operate IT infrastructures in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
You administer Windows and Linux servers and optimise their operation
You manage virtualisation platforms and implement IT security measures
You analyse and resolve faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
You automate processes with PowerShell and Bash and support the operation of monitoring solutions
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or comparable practical experience. A degree is not required
You bring experience in system administration, network technology, and IT infrastructure
You have good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux
You have experience with virtualisation, server systems, and IT security
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and Azure is an advantage
Very good German skills in spoken and written form
