Responsibilities

• Technical coordination of the System Engineering team
• Active participation (approx. 80%) in the operation and further development of the ICT infrastructure (Microsoft environments, VMware, M365)
• Analysis and resolution of disruptions during ongoing operations
• Installation, configuration and provision of servers, clients and applications
• Creation of concepts and successful implementation in projects
• Ensuring security and compliance standards according to best practices
• 2nd-level support, consulting internal teams and documenting service areas

Strengths

• Completed IT training or equivalent professional experience (at least 5 years in system engineering or IT operations)
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft and VMware environments as well as M365 services
• Experience in the Windows area with client and server installations, software distribution and patch management
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical skills and communication abilities as well as leadership experience
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to take on on-call duty
