For a technically versatile IT environment, an experienced leader is sought who will lead an ICT service team both professionally and personally while remaining technically close to day-to-day operations. The position combines leadership, IT service management, infrastructure, and customer consulting.
In addition to responsibility for a team of up to 15 employees, you actively shape the IT strategy and service landscape. You work on modern Microsoft, cloud, virtualisation, and data centre topics and support customers as well as internal departments with demanding technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Professional and personnel leadership as well as development of an ICT service team with up to 15 employees
Development of the ICT strategy and roadmap as well as implementation of technical and organisational measures
Establishment and further development of IT service management processes according to ITIL including service design, SLAs, service architectures, and operating concepts
Ensuring stable operation of data centre, workplace, customer, and internal IT infrastructures for up to 600 users
Participation in budgeting, reporting, recruitment, ITSM tool evaluation, and technical development of the infrastructure
Support of sales and customers in consulting, acquisition, and offers as well as taking on technical service management tasks if suitably qualified
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in a technically demanding IT role, ideally complemented by leadership experience
Sound knowledge of modern Microsoft infrastructures as well as experience with cloud, virtualisation, workplace, and data centre
Experience in operating and further developing IT infrastructures and services
Strong technical affinity and willingness to be operationally involved in complex issues
Experience in IT service management and ideally ITIL knowledge or a corresponding certification
Leadership skills, customer orientation, entrepreneurial thinking as well as very good German and good English skills
