Business Engineer BCM Payment Transactions

Responsibilities

• Analysis and design of an emergency operation solution in payment transactions within the banking environment as well as support during implementation
• Collection, analysis, design and documentation of business and technical requirements as well as concept development at Epic and Feature level (basis for implementation by internal IT and the software supplier)
• End-to-end management of change requests as workstream leader
• Close collaboration with business departments, IT teams and external partners
• Reconciliation and definition of interface requirements and data flows between banking systems, data adapters and the software supplier’s system
• Coordination and synchronisation of requirements and processes together with business and technical experts and Business Continuity Management (BCM)
• Ensuring that the emergency operation solution fulfils regulatory
  requirements (FINMA Resilience according to RS2023/1), optimally supports business processes and is seamlessly integrated into the mini-core banking system
• Acceptance testing of business requirements

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, business administration or comparable field
• Several years of experience as a Business Engineer including experience in requirements analysis, process modelling and creation of business concepts
• Experience in specifying business and technical requirements (e.g. interface requirements, business data models, non-functional requirements)
• Expertise in payment transaction processes and requirements (ISO 20022 standard, CAMT and MX messages)
• Good understanding of IT systems and their integration
• Experience in complex projects and agile methods (e.g. SAFe, Scrum)
• Fluent German and English skills

Advantageous

• Knowledge of BCM processes such as MiniSIC procedure
• Experience in digital transformations
• IREB or ITIL certifications are advantageous
