Role:
As a Senior DevOps Specialist Kubernetes & GitOps, you shape the technical direction of a modern container platform based on OpenShift and Kubernetes. Your architectural decisions have an impact far beyond your own team. Development, architecture, and IT security seek your advice on complex issues. Those who want to not only operate platforms but also think strategically will find genuine scope for design here.
Responsibilities:
You design platform architectures, set technical standards, and continuously develop best practices.
You design modern delivery pipelines with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) as well as GitOps from the ground up to be scalable.
Furthermore, you modernise the existing DevOps toolchain and consistently automate recurring processes.
In critical disruptions, you keep an overview, manage the analysis, and ensure lasting solutions.
You evaluate new technologies for their benefits and bring platform services cleanly into productive use.
Additionally, you specifically support younger colleagues and make knowledge accessible throughout the company.
Qualifications:
Many years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps environment form your solid foundation.
You know container platforms in detail and have built pipelines with ArgoCD, TeamCity, Tekton, or similar tools.
Versioning with Git is natural to you, as is working with container registries like Harbor.
You understand observability as a comprehensive concept and use solutions such as ELK or Sentry.
You implement security and governance requirements in the deployment environment practically and directly.
Moreover, you bring leadership skills, a high degree of personal responsibility, and the ability to explain complex matters clearly, both in German and English.
