For a successful, internationally active industrial company in Pfäffikon ZH, we are looking for a committed individual who actively shapes purchasing and ensures smooth material supply with their organisational talent.

Operational Buyer in the Operations Department

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the operational purchasing of defined material groups and suppliers
• Independent handling of orders as well as management of your own supplier portfolio
• Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring material availability for production
• Maintenance and updating of purchasing and material master data in SAP
• Ongoing communication and coordination with suppliers and internal departments
• Support in optimising inventory levels and procurement processes
• Participation in the further development and optimisation of SAP processes
• Collection, evaluation and preparation of relevant purchasing key figures

Your profile

• Several years of experience in operational purchasing in a manufacturing industrial company
• Good and practical SAP knowledge
• Experience in order processing, scheduling and delivery date monitoring
• Confident handling of suppliers and experience in supplier management
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Good English skills, both spoken and written
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Organised, reliable and solution-oriented personality
