ECM Digital Consultant (m/f/d)

Role:
When documents become digital processes: We are looking for a technically skilled individual with an interest in business software, process digitalisation, and enterprise content management. The role combines IT consulting with modern process design and offers the opportunity to have a real impact on the future way of working of companies through challenging digitalisation projects.
Responsibilities:
Advising clients on the digital transformation of document-based business processes
Recording and analysing existing workflows as well as identifying automation potentials
Developing modern concepts for document management, information management, and digital workflows
Designing technical solutions based on individual customer requirements
Implementing and configuring ECM applications and digital process solutions
Connecting ECM systems to ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications
Planning and implementing system integrations via APIs and standardised interfaces
Providing technical support for implementation, migration, and optimisation projects
Conducting workshops to develop requirements and solution variants
Supporting architectural decisions and the technical further development of existing solutions
Analysing error patterns and developing sustainable solution approaches
Creating technical specifications, solution concepts, and project documentation
Actively monitoring new technologies related to AI, intelligent document processing, cloud, and process automation
Qualifications:
University of Applied Sciences degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related technical field
Experience in IT consulting, software projects, ECM, DMS, or business applications
Strong interest in technical systems and their interaction
Understanding of data flows, interfaces, and modern software architectures
Ideally experience with REST, APIs, SQL, or comparable technologies
Interest in workflow engines, process automation, and digital information management
Ability to analyse complex technical issues and solve them pragmatically
Communicative personality with enthusiasm for client projects
Independent and structured working style
High willingness to learn and interest in new technologies such as AI-supported document classification and intelligent document processing
