As a Microsoft Cloud System Engineer, you take on a key role for an infrastructure that supports both office workplaces and production-related systems equally. The daily routine ranges from stable server operation through network topics to security issues. You shape many things yourself, from the idea to the finished operation. Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation of Windows servers and workstation systems and manage permissions and identities
You implement solutions around Microsoft 365 (M365), network technology (Fortinet, Cisco) and VMware and advise on selection
Furthermore, you keep systems up to date through patch and vulnerability management, also in production-related environments
In addition, you lead internal and external IT projects from planning to commissioning
You monitor the threat situation, expand protective measures and maintain specialised hardware including printing systems
You also support users pragmatically and work closely with specialist departments and external partners
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with a focus on system technology or platform development
You have several years of experience in system or application operation or support
You have practical experience in several areas with Windows Client and Server, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet or PowerShell
Your working style is organised, reliable and results-oriented
You also enjoy understanding contexts and building sustainable solutions
Additionally, you are service-oriented, take initiative independently and express yourself clearly in German
