YOUR TASKS

• Coordination and preparation of samples for the analytical examination of fragrance substances and essential oils.
• Operation and regular maintenance of our GC-MS systems. Evaluation and processing of GC-MS data using chromatography software as well as our internal analysis software.
• Ensuring careful, consistent, and traceable handling of the analyses and routine tasks that arise.
• Support in organising the daily laboratory routine as well as in the maintenance of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Identifying deviations in the analysis process and, depending on experience, supporting troubleshooting of the GC-MS systems.

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician or a comparable scientific-technical qualification.
• Enjoyment of practical laboratory work as well as recurring, clearly structured tasks and processes.
• Very careful, reliable, and consistent working style even with a high volume of routine tasks.
• Strong concentration ability, patience, and perseverance for longer analysis and evaluation tasks.
• Willingness to perform the activity predominantly on-site in the laboratory. Experience with GC-MS systems and especially in GC-MS troubleshooting is an advantage.
