What You Achieve

• You ensure that data is not debated but reliably used
• You define quality dimensions and make data quality measurable with clear metrics
• You develop automated validation rules, checks and monitoring dashboards across all divisions
• You analyse data flows, identify the causes of data issues and derive effective measures
• You build data pipelines and workflows that ensure quality from the outset ("Quality by Design")
• You examine where AI and automation can improve data quality, for example in anomaly detection or data cleansing
• You work closely with the Data Architect, Data Stewards and business units
• You prepare results for the Data Council and grow into moderating this committee
• You make progress, risks and quality transparent and understandable, also for management

What You Bring

• You bring clarity to data and remain persistent when things get difficult
• A university degree/training in Data Science, Computer Science or a comparable quantitative field, or solid experience in data quality, data governance or similar roles
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL; experience with large data volumes and data pipelines is a plus
• The ability to define quality metrics and analyse data issues in a structured and reproducible manner
• An understanding of data flows, integrations and system interrelations
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and automated reporting
• Clear communication and the ability to present complex results understandably for management and business units
• Assertiveness in goal conflicts and a focus on measurable improvement rather than paperwork
• Good German and English skills; French is an advantage
