About the job

At Wirbelschloss, the GMZ nursery, you place children and their individual needs at the centre. In 3 mixed-age groups with children from 3 months up to kindergarten entry, you accompany up to 10 children per group with heart, expertise and commitment – together with 1 specialist and 1 trainee. Look forward to closeness, security and individual support.

What you achieve

• Accompanying and promoting children according to their individual needs
• Co-creating a varied and age-appropriate nursery daily routine
• Observing and documenting the children’s developmental steps
• Building a trusting collaboration with parents and guardians
• Co-responsibility for a safe, appreciative and stimulating environment
• Active participation in team meetings and contributing to pedagogical development
• Taking on organisational and domestic tasks in the group’s daily routine
• Accompanying and competently guiding our trainees in their training routine

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: as a FaBe Child or an equivalent pedagogical qualification
• Work experience: Initial professional experience after training in the field of supplementary childcare desirable
• Experience in pedagogical and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Warm, empathetic and patient manner with children
• Enjoyment in appreciative interaction with children, families and caregivers from various cultures
• High social competence and strong teamwork skills
• Independent, responsible and reliable working style
• Creativity and joy in supporting children in their development
• German (C1)
