Job Description
Your Team & Your Mission
IT plays a central role in the digital advancement of our company and makes a significant contribution to the digitalisation of the real estate industry. Our IT team sees itself as an "enabler" for the entire company and maintains close, collaborative communication with all departments.
We foster an open communication culture, support each other, and operate a versatile system landscape for our internal users as well as customer software and solutions. To strengthen our IT Server Cloud Administration team, we are looking for an experienced individual who shares our enthusiasm for modern IT and takes responsibility for the operation and further development of our infrastructure.
Your Tasks
You will take responsibility in two complementary areas – operational management and strategic development:
Operation & Service
- Ensuring the stable operation of our Microsoft 365 environment (including Entra ID, Intune, Defender) as well as selected Azure services
- Supporting the operation of the Azure platform for our SaaS product in collaboration with an external service provider
- Handling and resolving IT operation tickets at second- and third-level support; occasional support of the IT operations team
- Administration and lifecycle management of the server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux) in virtualised environments
- Operation and further development of the identity infrastructure (Active Directory & Entra ID, including DNS and DHCP)
- Endpoint management: support of macOS and Windows clients including deployment processes and patch management
- Coordination and management of external service providers in day-to-day business
Projects & Development
- Planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects in close cooperation with the IT Lead Server Cloud Administration and the CISO
- Implementation of IT security measures: Conditional Access, hardening, endpoint protection, and compliance
- Automation and standardisation of operational processes (e.g. PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform)
- Collaboration with the DevOps team (CI pipelines etc.)
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies as well as active participation in the strategic IT roadmap
- Documentation of systems, processes, and changes according to IT best practices
Qualifications
Your Profile
- Higher education in computer science or a related field at NQR/EQR level 6+ (e.g. federal diploma, higher technical college, BSc Computer Science or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in system or cloud engineering after initial training
- Experience in independently implementing IT infrastructure projects
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Teams) and Microsoft Azure
- Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (e.g. Debian/Ubuntu)
- Experience with virtualisation solutions such as VMware, ProxMox, or similar
- Knowledge of IT security and identity management (Conditional Access, Zero Trust, Endpoint Protection)
- Experience with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Terraform); IaC knowledge is an advantage
- Hands-on mentality, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as a team-oriented personality with clear and proactive communication
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
