Promoter of success conditions at the local level and close to the population, the Professional Practices Development Service (SDPP) of AVASAD addresses issues of quality, professional support, capacity development and innovation in the field of home care, particularly in terms of prevention and health promotion. This team of 30 collaborators guarantees an evolving and equitable offer for the entire population of Vaud. To complete the team, we are looking for a:
Head of Early Childhood and Family Unit (80%)
Missions and responsibilities:
- Manage the unit and coordinate the activity of collaborators
- Develop and promote childhood and family activities in line with AVASAD's strategic axes and objectives
- Ensure equity and quality of early childhood and family services throughout the canton
- Position the unit as a centre of expertise and professional reference for the system Develop research in social sciences and health sciences
- Develop synergies with other units/poles of the SDPP, with transversal services, with collaborators of A/F and CMS
- Develop strong partnerships with other health and social institutions in the Canton, Higher Education Institutions, the university, etc.
Your skills and experience:
We are looking for a collaborator who ideally has proven experience in the field of "early childhood" such as paediatrics or neonatology as well as team management. The ideal candidate has project management experience and knowledge of the medico-social environment.
The role requires:
- A HES nursing diploma or equivalent as well as a postgraduate diploma in health and early childhood
- A strong interest in teamwork
- Knowledge in public health, health promotion and prevention, research and publication
- An eye for detail with analytical skills, while being solution-, client- and results-oriented
- Leadership skills and the ability to innovate
- An open, communicative, collaborative personality with ease in internal and external contacts.
