Business Development Manager (m/f/d)
For our Air & Sea business division, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) who passionately opens up new business opportunities, ensures sustainable growth and actively develops our market position in Switzerland. Your workplace is flexible: besides our location in Glattbrugg, you can also work from Basel.

Your tasks
- Responsibility for business development activities in the Air & Sea sector with a strong focus on active market development and generating new sales opportunities
- Identification, approach and acquisition of new customers in Switzerland for the sustainable development of the Air & Sea business
- Building and maintaining a reliable network with decision-makers, suppliers and transport partners
- Close cooperation with the global DSV Sales Community to utilise synergies and best practices
- Partnership-based collaboration with the Air & Sea team in Switzerland as well as with internal contacts from other DSV business divisions
- Support of tender processes and coordination of smooth customer onboarding in cooperation with the implementation teams
- Strong sales orientation and passion for acquiring new customers, combined with a strong entrepreneurial understanding
Your profile
- At least 3 years of professional experience in sales or business development in the Air & Sea sector in Switzerland
- Proven success in developing new business opportunities and acquiring new customers
- Sound knowledge of the Swiss logistics market and the local customer landscape
- Strong networking skills as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent German and English skills (French or Italian are an advantage)
- Dynamic, proactive and results-oriented personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
