IT System Manager (m/f/d)

With an experienced team, turnkey systems are implemented from planning to commissioning. The field of activity includes emergency power generators, battery storage systems, transport refrigeration machines, as well as complete service for diesel engines – from overhauls to spare parts to technical support. You combine business understanding with technical competence and bring digitalisation from the concept phase into reality. We are looking for a personality who thinks ERP, cloud, automation, and modern business processes together while keeping economic decisions in view.
Responsibilities:
Design of a modern digital business and IT landscape
Further development of ERP, cloud, and enterprise applications
Analysis of existing business processes and identification of concrete digitalisation potentials
Initiation and management of automation and transformation projects
Development of solution architectures together with internal departments and external specialists
Ensuring smooth integration of various business systems
Responsibility for Microsoft 365 services and their continuous development
Evaluation of new technologies regarding benefits, effort, security, and economic efficiency
Management of IT service providers, integration partners, and consultants
Establishment of clear requirements, roadmaps, and implementation concepts
Coordination of projects across business, IT, and external partners
Establishment of efficient digital workflows and automated processes
Advising company management on strategic technology decisions
Building a future-proof IT roadmap with a focus on scalability and business value
Qualifications:
Higher education or degree in computer science, business informatics, business engineering, IT management, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in IT, business applications, digitalisation, or IT project management
Solid experience with Microsoft 365 and modern cloud solutions
Experience with ERP systems and integrated business applications
Experience in leading complex IT and digitalisation projects
Confident appearance towards external service providers and technical partners
Understanding of interfaces, data flows, and modern integration architectures
Economic thinking and ability to realistically estimate effort
High initiative and strong implementation orientation
Enjoyment in critically questioning existing processes and implementing better solutions
