Microsoft System Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you combine classic system engineering with varied customer projects. You work on different IT landscapes, further develop existing environments, and support companies in implementing modern infrastructure and security solutions. You can apply your technical skills and gradually take on more responsibility in projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of modern IT infrastructures based on Microsoft technologies and Windows systems
Technical analysis of customer environments as well as identification of optimisation and modernisation potential
Installation, configuration, and further development of server, client, and virtualisation environments
Responsibility for ongoing operations including system monitoring, fault analysis, and sustainable troubleshooting
Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects in the areas of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, virtualisation, and IT security
Technical contact person for customers regarding questions, problems, and further development of their IT environment
Coordination of project tasks and collaboration with internal specialists and external contacts
Continuous improvement of the managed systems in terms of stability, security, and efficiency
Qualifications:
A completed IT education with a focus on platform development or a comparable technical qualification
Practical experience in operating and supporting IT infrastructures, ideally in a service or system house environment
Good knowledge of the Microsoft product world and experience with Windows-based system landscapes
Familiarity with virtualisation solutions as well as solid knowledge of networking technology
Interest in current developments in cyber security and willingness to further expand one’s own know-how
Ability to recognise technical contexts, analyse them in a structured manner, and develop practical solutions
A reliable and independent working style as well as enjoyment of direct customer contact
Team orientation, communication skills, and a strong quality and service awareness
Driving licence category B & fluent German skills as well as good English skills
