Zweisimmen is located in the Bernese Oberland, nestled in a gentle, hilly landscape. Hiking and skiing areas are right outside the school door. Zweisimmen is easily accessible by public transport, with the train station in close proximity to the school.
The Volksschule Zweisimmen is attended by approximately 310 pupils. The school offers all classes from kindergarten to lower secondary level.

Tasks
You will lead a 9th grade Sek/Real class with all the responsibilities of a class teacher.
You will teach, if possible, 17 lessons in the following subjects: Mathematics, NT, RZG, ERG as well as Physical Education and Sport.
You will work constructively within the staff and contribute to the development of the school.
Requirements
Ideally, you hold a teaching diploma recognised by the EDK.
You are flexible, patient, and face the challenges of everyday school life positively.
You have a big heart for the pupils as well as empathy and understanding for their individual needs.
You possess team spirit and the ability to collaborate constructively with other teachers and the school team.
We Offer
Our lower secondary level is organised in model 3b with mixed-ability base classes. Mobility between level subjects is ensured.
You can expect a small, manageable class with around 15 pupils.
You will be supported and accompanied by the staff, school management, and specialist teachers in the team.
At Volksschule Zweisimmen, we have a well-functioning school social work service.
Regular further training sessions are offered on site with the staff of the Obersimmental.
The school building lends itself to working outdoors as well (ski slope in close proximity, forest within walking distance...)
