The City of Fribourg is advertising a position for a
Senior Administrative Assistant 80% (M/F)
in the Childhood, Schools and Social Cohesion Service
Your tasks
- Provide executive assistance and administrative support to the Head of Service, the Municipal Councillor and the Head of the Administration Sector
- Organise and coordinate meetings, conferences and events of the service, draft minutes and ensure follow-up of decisions
- Participate in the monitoring of strategic files, preparation of reports and recommendations for municipal authorities as well as the administrative management of projects
- Contribute to the optimisation, formalisation and documentation of administrative, organisational processes and the internal control system
- Manage the service's documentation, as well as administer the time management tool as a super user
- Provide administrative support to the various sectors of the service, notably in the monitoring of administrative and financial files and in the integration processes of new colleagues
- Act as an interface and coordinator with the different sectors of the service, municipal administration services, institutional partners and cantonal authorities, ensuring rigorous and confidential handling of files
Your profile
- Commercial employee CFC with maturity certificate or equivalent training, supplemented by a federal diploma as executive assistant
- Proven experience in a senior executive assistant role
- Experience in the administrative field, ideally in public administration, with excellent writing skills
- Rigour in task completion, initiative, analytical and synthesis skills
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, sense of priorities and methodical approach, discretion and respect for confidentiality
- Good interpersonal skills, ease of teamwork and sense of public service
- Excellent command of IT tools
- Fluency in French with good knowledge of German
