What you can contribute

• Create and interpret legal foundations for the key areas of biomedicine
• Develop draft ordinances and participate in legislative processes
• Advise BAG specialist units, review legal questions and edit procedural documents
• Manage internal administrative consultations, parliamentary initiatives and popular initiatives
• Provide legal advice to federal offices, cantonal authorities and interest groups

What makes you unique

• Degree in law from a Swiss university; ideally a lawyer’s licence, doctorate or equivalent qualification
• Expertise in constitutional and administrative law and confident application of legal methods; experience in legislative procedures is an advantage
• Analytical and interconnected thinking, structured and precise working style as well as high independence
• Target group-oriented communication in spoken and written form, service-oriented advice and constructive collaboration
• Very good German and/or French skills, with good knowledge of a second official language
