Who we are

In the centre of Russikon, three municipalities provide 32 single care rooms with balconies. We offer residents with various care and support needs an individually designed, warm-hearted and safe home with privacy. Additionally, 23 retirement apartments for largely independent seniors are available in two apartment buildings in the village centre (see www.rosengasse.ch ).

Our kitchen stands for fresh, seasonal meals, lovingly prepared – with heart and hand. We are looking for a person to take on kitchen responsibility immediately or by arrangement, who wishes to actively contribute to the quality of life of our residents.

Cook EFZ with Kitchen Responsibility (80 – 100 %)

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for our kitchen
• Cooking and preparing balanced, seasonal meals
• Leading the kitchen team in coordination with the Head of Hospitality & Gastronomy
• Compliance with quality and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Menu planning for various dietary needs
• Purchasing and inventory management
• Application of the latest cooking methods (low-temperature cooking, sous vide, cook and chill, blast freezing, as well as regeneration and banquet system techniques)

Your profile

• Training as a Cook EFZ or equivalent
• Several years of experience, ideally in residential or communal catering
• Leadership experience required
• Trainer course / experience with apprentices advantageous
• Organisational talent, resilient and highly responsible
• Enjoyment of fresh products and working with people
• Humour, attention to detail and willingness to further develop the kitchen
