Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you prefer building automated cloud platforms rather than manually configured servers? This position is aimed at a cloud specialist who standardises Azure infrastructures, defines them as code, and develops a powerful platform for modern applications.
Responsibilities:
Engineering a scalable Azure platform for modern applications
Developing modular and reusable infrastructure with Terraform and Bicep
Building self-service mechanisms for developer teams and technical departments
Automating the entire infrastructure lifecycle
Developing CI/CD workflows for reproducible deployments
Designing Azure architecture standards and technical reference models
Implementing cloud governance using Azure Policy and standardised controls
Integrating security-by-design into infrastructure and deployment processes
Building observability solutions for cloud resources and workloads
Optimising cloud costs through automated processes and FinOps approaches
Containerisation and integration of modern workload platforms
Evaluating new Azure services and transitioning suitable technologies into productive operation
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience in the Azure environment
Very good understanding of cloud architectures and Azure services
Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform and Bicep
Experience in building automated CI/CD processes
Good knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security
Enjoyment of automation, standardisation, and engineering
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into robust solutions
Independent and solution-oriented working style
Interest in new cloud technologies and continuous technical development
