At the Nuclear Technician School NTS, the advanced technical college course for large plant operation HF is conducted. This course imparts the nuclear technical fundamentals for the prospective reactor operators in the Swiss nuclear power plants. It also includes practical training at the nuclear power plant and on the plant-specific simulators at the respective sites, which is why the training is carried out in close cooperation with the nuclear power plants.

Lecturer for Control, Mechanical and Energy Engineering (m/f/d), 80 – 100%

In this demanding, development-capable role, you will take on the following tasks:

• You teach young adults in the fields of energy engineering (control engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) and know how to explain complex relationships clearly;
• You conduct and develop practical training and apply modern teaching methods;
• You support students with practical and diploma projects;
• You complement the small lecturer team professionally and take on deputy roles;
• You undertake administrative tasks and (partial) project tasks;
• You maintain contacts with the nuclear power plants and authorities and continue your professional and didactic development.

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

• Completed university education in an engineering discipline with experience and enthusiasm for adult education.
• An open, flexible personality with very good German skills – the teaching is conducted in German.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic small team.
• You are willing to continue your education as a "HF lecturer in a part-time capacity".
