About the job

Since 2014, the Gellert Hof in Basel has provided a home for around 134 residents. The offer includes living areas for general as well as psychogeriatric care and nursing, a care living group for people with dementia and age-related visual impairment, as well as a residential area. In addition, the Bethesda Park has 62 apartments with their own Spitex area for independent living in old age in close proximity to the Gellert Hof.

The Gellert Hof Retirement Centre is part of Bethesda Alterszentren AG, a network organisation of various retirement centres in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, anchored in an open Christian value culture.

Hotel Management (100%)

• Professional, personnel and organisational management of the hotel services
• Leadership, development and advice for the subordinate employees
• Recruitment of directly subordinate employees as well as support for group leaders
  in the selection of their employees and in creating duty rosters
• Responsibility for the development and compliance of quality management
• Co-responsible for the development and implementation of concepts/projects for the further development of the area, the operation and thus the corporate culture in your own management area and in the house

• You already bring professional and leadership experience, ideally in long-term care
• You are a team player, flexible and empathetic and enjoy working with an enthusiastic team
• You enjoy dealing with elderly residents
