• Use of fruit-growing specific agricultural machinery and equipment as well as their maintenance and repairs
• Practical training of apprentice fruit specialists

In a nutshell

The team of the fruit growing experimental farm in Wädenswil maintains 11.5 ha of fruit plantations and supports research in conducting field trials and testing new cultivation systems and varieties. We are looking for a committed, trained specialist in fruit growing to strengthen this team. The position is open to apprentices in their 3rd year as certified fruit specialists EFZ who wish to gain initial professional experience after completing their EFZ in 2026.

It fulfils an important function as a bridge between basic research and fruit growing practice.
