About the job
With around 40 employees, Akzent is one of the larger Swiss organisations in addiction prevention and treatment. The addiction therapy department offers a total of 25 inpatient therapy places for adults with addiction problems.
We are looking for a Social Pedagogue (20-30%) for the Ausserhofmatt house in Malters from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- You are part of the interdisciplinary treatment team
- You conduct key worker conversations and provide individual advice and support
- You accompany admissions, transfers and discharges of clients
- You take on independent care duties in the evenings and at weekends (3pm-9pm)
- You accompany, promote and support clients in practical daily living, leisure activities and social integration
- You dispense medication according to prescription and carry out alcohol and urine tests
Your Profile
- You have a qualification in social pedagogy (HF/FH), social work, socio-cultural animation, psychology or a basic nursing, social or educational training
- Ideally, you have experience in the addiction field and/or in the inpatient sector
- You are open and empathetic and build relationships authentically and on an equal footing
- You work independently, in a structured, reliable and efficient manner
- You have MS365 user skills and a category B driving licence
