Your daily routine
In this key position, you are responsible for our internal IT infrastructure, information security, and IT services. You lead the internal IT team and ensure a secure, modern, and high-performance working environment. You combine leadership responsibility with technical proximity to day-to-day operations. You set priorities, further develop structures, and also get involved operationally yourself. Your diverse tasks include:
- Professional and personnel management of the internal IT team
- Development and implementation of IT strategy, roadmap, standards, and governance
- Responsibility for secure and stable IT operations including information security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Further development of our cloud, workplace, and identity architecture
- Optimisation and automation of IT service, support, and operational processes
- Handling, coordination, and escalation of incidents in the technical campus infrastructure
- Management of IT projects, technological renewals, and new platforms
- Responsibility for budget, licences, contracts, and external service providers
- Close collaboration with software development, Opacc Cloud Center, management, and specialist departments
- Active participation in operational day-to-day business and challenging technical issues
- Optional: Taking on responsibility as a trainer for IT specialists EFZ, specialising in platform development
Your background
You have several years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, or IT management and have already gained technical and personnel leadership experience.
Ideally, you bring the following knowledge and experience:
- Solid experience with modern cloud, workplace, and identity environments
- Good knowledge of information security, networking, and infrastructure
- Experience with endpoint management, client lifecycle, as well as IT service and support processes
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Experience in managing external service providers as well as budget, licence, and contract management
- Good understanding of modern software development and DevOps environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, virtualisation, Linux, containers, and infrastructure as code is an advantage
