Data Protection Specialist (m/f/d)
How you contribute:
- Participate and act as a contact person for data protection-related issues in day-to-day business and projects, especially with digital, cloud or SaaS reference from requirement to implementation
- Support the data protection review and design of contracts, agreements, NDAs and supplier relationships.
- Participate in projects as well as in the introduction and further development of applications, cloud solutions and data processes.
- Support the maintenance and quality assurance of data protection documentation, registers and inventories.
- Proactively raise awareness and support departments on data protection-related issues
- Support audits, data protection impact assessments, risk analyses and data protection incidents as well as corresponding controls and measures
What sets you apart:
- You have a degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, law or a comparable field.
- You bring at least 2 years of professional experience in data protection, information security, IT governance, compliance or a related field.
- You are interested in digital technologies, data flows and regulatory issues and have a very good technical understanding of IT systems, applications, interfaces and modern IT landscapes. Basic knowledge of cloud models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and a basic understanding of technical and organisational measures (TOM) are required.
- You have good knowledge of Swiss data protection law (DSG). Knowledge of the GDPR is an advantage.
- You can clearly prepare technical and regulatory requirements and communicate them appropriately between departments, IT, information security and compliance.
- You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing and good English skills.
