About the job
The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. For our operations centre, we are looking for an experienced
Operations Dispatcher / Operations Centre 100%
Tasks
- Handling incoming emergency calls and enquiries
- Responsible and timely operational management
- Complete and consistent case documentation in the operations control system
- Operation of the systems of the respective specialised services
- Collaboration with partners in incident management
Profile
- Federal diploma as a police officer or certificate as well as several years of frontline experience as a police officer
- Independent and responsible working style with decision-making ability in unclear situations and under pressure
- Good handling of diversity
- Willingness to learn (applications, operational organisation, processes etc.) as well as good IT user skills and quick comprehension
- Networked and company-wide thinking, teamwork and cooperation skills
- Willingness to work shifts
- Good verbal and written communication skills in German, foreign language skills desirable
- Impeccable reputation
