What you can contribute

• Take overall responsibility for the Business Unit Identity & Access Services with a focus on strategic, professional and financial management
• Be responsible for the further development of central IAM services (Identity & Access Management), ensure their secure and sustainable operation, and actively drive the alignment, prioritisation and roadmap of the platforms; also specifically further develop PKI and trust services
• Bear business management responsibility for projects with relevant financial volume and ensure optimal use of resources
• Make well-founded technical, professional and economic decisions (including assessment of risks, opportunities and dependencies) as well as define governance, security and compliance requirements and ensure their compliance
• Actively shape the vision and objectives of the associated services and value streams and take overall responsibility throughout the entire service and product lifecycle
• Coordinate close collaboration with architecture, security, engineering and other stakeholders and act as a central interface between business, IT and external partners

What makes you unique

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in the field of Identity & Access Management (IAM) as well as in complex, security-critical or regulated IT environments
• Several years of experience in managing platforms, services or IT products at a strategic level
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to holistically assess technical, economic and organisational aspects
• High decision-making and assertiveness as well as confident appearance in demanding stakeholder situations; strong economic understanding (costs, benefits, risks, long-term impact)
• Very good communication skills and knowledge of at least two official languages as well as passive knowledge of a third official language

As Business Owner Identity and Access Services, you are responsible for the strategic development and operation of central IAM services of BIT. You also actively shape the further development of PKI and trust services and contribute to sustainably advancing the digital trust and identity landscape of the federal administration. You set clear priorities and ensure that security, governance and user orientation work optimally together. In doing so, you combine technological excellence with economic thinking and lead your organisational unit purposefully into the future in a dynamic environment.
