A cloud platform lives from people who actively shape it. This is exactly where the position of Microsoft Azure Engineer comes in. You are responsible for the stability, scaling, and protection of an environment based on Microsoft Azure. Scripting and automation shape your daily work more than manual routine. A small, technically skilled unit gives you room for your own concepts.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the performance, availability, and security of the cloud environment and drive its expansion forward
In addition, you build infrastructure components such as virtual machines, storage, networking, as well as identity & access management
You automate recurring processes and deployments with PowerShell and automation services
Furthermore, you manage interfaces between cloud services and connected enterprise applications
In the case of tricky error patterns, you investigate the cause in 2nd level support
Moreover, you implement monitoring and security concepts and document architecture and operations comprehensibly
Qualifications:
A computer science education at HF or FH level forms your professional basis, alternatively a comparable career path
Several years of practical experience in operating cloud environments in the Microsoft environment are part of your CV
You master Entra ID, IAM, networking, storage, as well as topics around compliance
You routinely use automation and infrastructure as code
Furthermore, you are familiar with monitoring and logging tools as well as integration via APIs
Additionally, you think conceptually, tackle tasks independently, and are confident in both German and technical English
