Your Responsibilities
The market organisation serves the Swiss market with all products and services of METTLER TOLEDO. For our Business Area "Industrial Weighing" we are looking for an experienced and committed person as Sales Representative Industry 100% (all genders) for the sales team in the catchment area Mittelland/Jura and Central Switzerland
In this role, you will undertake the following tasks:
- Your main task is the efficient market development/penetration, acquisition of new and support of existing customers
- You drive the expansion of the "Industrial Weighing" area through targeted acquisition of projects for our products
- You conduct product presentations, demos, and training sessions with strategically important customers
- You are responsible for customer satisfaction and provide assistance where necessary on cross-departmental issues
- Furthermore, you plan and arrange customer appointments, ensure the preparation of quotations, and maintain customer data in our CRM system
- Last but not least, you take on technical application support and consulting
We require the following for this position:
- You have completed a technical education as a salesperson, engineer, or chemist with in-depth knowledge of weighing and production processes
- You demonstrate very good skills in selling technically demanding products and have at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of the food and/or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
- You are an open and dynamic personality who is well acquainted with the industrial production environment and has a strong affinity for software and automation solutions
- As a point of contact for our customers, you are a service-oriented, dynamic, and competent person
- You possess fluent German skills as well as very good knowledge of French
