In this role, you take responsibility for an attractive IT range and develop the business together with Microsoft in a targeted manner. You combine product understanding with commercial thinking and a good sense of market and customer needs. From pricing and procurement to marketing, you actively shape and ensure that your portfolio grows successfully. What to expect
- You take operational responsibility for the Microsoft Surface and LCD range and continuously develop it along our category strategy
- You always keep an eye on sales, contribution margin and other relevant key figures and steer your portfolio specifically towards the defined budget targets
- In close cooperation with Microsoft and our suppliers, you conduct negotiations and secure attractive conditions
- You use market and trend analyses to identify new potentials, products and sources of supply at an early stage
- Around assortment and article management, you control the process from article creation and master data maintenance to the implementation of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
- Together with purchasing, you implement the procurement strategy and keep an eye on stock levels, target coverage and automated ordering processes
- You reliably process manufacturer invoices, bonuses, credits and claims and ensure the necessary reporting
- Together with marketing and sales, you develop effective marketing and communication priorities for your range
- As a central interface, you connect Microsoft and other suppliers with sales, marketing, purchasing and accounting
- You reliably ensure regulatory and legal requirements around your range
What you bring
- 2–3 years of professional experience in product management or a comparable product- and commercially-oriented function
- Good knowledge of the IT market as well as enthusiasm for products, technology and commercial contexts
- Experience in dealing with key figures such as sales, contribution margin, margin or pricing and ideally in managing an assortment or product portfolio
- Negotiation skills and communication strength in dealing with manufacturers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- A good sense for market trends as well as for the needs of our customers
- Independent and efficient working style combined with initiative and a high sense of responsibility
- Analytical and networked thinking as well as an entrepreneurial approach
- Solution-oriented personality who keeps priorities in view even in a dynamic environment
- Good MS Office skills and confident German in spoken and written form
- Very good English skills for collaboration with international partners
